Anyone who has been itching for more classic highlights from "The Answer" will get some relief when the new three-on-three BIG3 league tips off.

Sources told The Vertical that Allen Iverson will serve as one of eight dual head coach/players in the league, which will employ former NBA players like Chauncey Billups, Rashard Lewis, Kenyon Martin, Jermaine O'Neal, and Stephen Jackson.

The league was announced in late December, with rapper Ice Cube emerging as a major investor, and former NBA player and current NBPA deputy executive director Roger Mason Jr. heading the management team.

The 76ers legend is reportedly scheduled to appear in New York at a press conference Wednesday to announce his partnership with the league, and the launch this coming summer.

Iverson, 41, enjoyed a 14-year career in the NBA, averaging 26.7 points, 6.2 assists, and 2.2 steals.
